Can I run ads myself? Yes, you can if you don't want to spend too much.

Quote of the Week
"You can do everything up until the sales call with AI, but then you actually gotta show up and close."
Idea of the Week
It's important to text every lead before you call them. Some people just don't like being called.
Some leads will just say call me. Some leads don't want to go back and forth over email. Some leads use iMessage. So make sure you see what the person prefers, because they might just get annoyed with you, and that's how you lose a sale.
We want to call our leads within five minutes, but we also want to text them first to see if they're going to reply. Then we can go back and forth over text and see if they want to get on a call.
Older guys like to be on the phones. Know your ICP and tailor your processes towards what they like the most.

Deep Dive
When should I turn my ads on? I'm going to debunk an industry myth right now.
We're going into Black Friday. You don't want to advertise right now, unless you got deep pockets and you want to compete with everyone that's running their best offers of the year.
You should probably start slowly figuring out alternative ways to feed your pipeline right now. October, November, December, first two weeks of Jan, you're going to be out of commission with ads.
If you've had a steady CAC year round, then you can keep running the ads. I'm not going to turn off my ads. It's a calculated cost: the first eight months of the year lower CAC, the last couple of months a little higher, and you average that out.
But if you're a starter, if you're cost sensitive, if the margins are tight, this is the time to turn off ads.
The best time to turn on ads is mid January or early Feb. So if you're thinking about starting Facebook ads, plan ahead. Pick your guy or gal, and once New Year's comes around, you're going to be ready.
